Following the latest release from the school registrar's office, some students have continued to be in total confusion as to whether the school is truly resuming academic activities tomorrow.
The text reads : "the Vice Chancellor, Professor A. S. Gbadegesin and the entire Management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso hereby welcome all back to the University after the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
"As the University resumes fully on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, Management wishes to enjoin all to ensure that all hands are on deck so that the University can experience a crisis-free session and thereby move the University forward.
MouthpieceNG reliably gathered that the official text is only for the resumption of business activities.
LAUTECH ASUU went on strike through congress and congressional decision, if the union will be resuming, the strike has to be suspended through congress.
The joint Action Congress ( JAC ), which comprises of NASU, SANU, NAT, are none academic staff. The unions are not on strike, only the Academic Staff ( ASUU) is on strike.
