Dr Lawal, a PHD holder in Plant Nutrition is one of the high ranked lecturers in Agronomy department.
He was inducted today as a fellow of the institute of Chattered Accountants of Nigeria.
The former Financial Secretary and current Investment Secretary of ASUU was also a former exam officer in LAUTECH.
Dr Lawal, whom some described as " Humanitarian" has given many students hope to live especially those suicidal tendency wells up in them as a result of frustration.
The former DDSA is always there for students and his colleagues in terms of need and has contributed immensely to the rescue of the institution.
