A former Beauty Queen, Fatimih David Sosa has been found dead in a Mexico City hotel.
Miss Davila was a former Miss Uruguay pageant winner, she won the Uruguay pageant in 2006 and also represented Uruguay in the 2006 Miss Universe pageant which took place in Los Angeles.
The 31 year old was identified by city officials as the woman who was found hanging in the bathroom of a guest room early on Thursday.
According to reports gathered by Mouthpiece NG, the hotel where she was found dead is located on Altadena Street in Colonia Nápoles, Benito Juarez.
The prosecutor's office which confirmed her death, announced that a homicide investigation was looking into the circumstances surrounding the hanging to know whether the woman killed herself or was slain by someone.
Officials said she had arrived in Mexico City on April 23 for a supposed job interview.
