Olori Badirat Ajoke, wife of the Alaafin, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has reacted to the rumours of an extra-marital affair with Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal.
Mouthpiece NGR learnt a popular blogger, Esther Aboderin aka Esabod had on Wednesday reported that Olori Badirat Ajoke, wife of the Alaafin of Oyo was having an adulterous affair with a popular fuji artiste, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM1).
She wrote “I learnt that it was an emotional scene at the Alaafin’s palace watching Olori Badirat Ajoke, who is actually the 9th wife and not the last wife as believed in certain quarters, of the highly revered Oba Adeyemi who Wikipedia claims has up to 13 wives.”
The statement further said she was sent packing after the allegations.
Olori Ajoke who is currently exercising her mandatory one year National Youth Service has denied the story.
In a telephone conversation, Badirat spoke angrily and described Estabod and others as rumor mongers.
She denied the story emphatically and swore by all the Yoruba gods and the orishas of the Alaafin’s palace.
She asked the gods to punish her if she ever had any affair with Wasiu.
She said the rumour mongers, which include Instablog and Chirp Television, had published all manners of falsehood about her in the past.

While Wasiu Ayinde, known as KWAM 1 has switched off his phone, one of his sons, Femi has threatened Chirp Television, one of the sources of the rumour with libel.
